ABOUT
Meet Stephanie
Owner & SLP
Welcome!
I’m Stephanie Perillo-Gentile, MS, CCC-SLP, an ASHA-certified pediatric speech and language pathologist with over a decade of experience helping children and families thrive through effective, compassionate speech therapy. A lifelong New Jersey resident, I currently live in Morristown with my husband and two children.
With over 10 years of experience in the public school system, specializing in preschool and early elementary students, I have a deep understanding of the developmental milestones and challenges that young children face. I specialize in Early Intervention (EI) and am currently an EI clinician, as well as a former member of a Preschool Child Study Team.
What Makes My Approach Unique?
As both a speech-language pathologist and a mom, I have developed an appreciation for a therapy experience that is both functional and natural. My approach is grounded in the belief that speech and language development should be seamlessly integrated into your child’s everyday life. While focusing on your child's individualized goals, I teach families how to infuse speech and language strategies into daily routines—so the progress continues long after the therapy session ends.
I believe in a child-led approach to therapy. Children learn best when they are relaxed, engaged, and having fun. By focusing on play-based learning, I create a safe space where your child can build confidence in their communication skills. I also value parent and caregiver involvement. I believe that the best results happen when families actively participate in the process. That’s why I encourage parents, caregivers, and even siblings to join in on sessions, giving them the tools to continue supporting their child’s development. Together, we’ll create a collaborative approach that is not only effective but sustainable.
If you’re looking for a dedicated, experienced professional who can help your child develop meaningful, functional communication and social skills, I would love to partner with your family. Together, we can create a plan that helps your child communicate more confidently, naturally, and effectively.

TESTIMONIALS
What Parents Say
Noah's Mom
"Noah is naturally very shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but he connected with Ms. Stephanie right away. Her kind and gentle approach made him feel comfortable from the start, and now he’s always so excited for his sessions. Her patience, creativity, and genuine care have been remarkable, and we’ve seen incredible progress in Noah’s communication skills. She has a gift for connecting with children and creating a positive, encouraging environment that helps them shine. We’re so grateful for her dedication and the amazing impact she’s had on our son!"
L's Mom
We had been doing speech with another agency but not seeing the progress we were hoping for. Our 4 year old daughter could hardly be understood. After working for just a few months with Stephanie we saw a major improvement in intelligibility and engagement. Stephanie was also very hands on with us as the parents to help our daughter practice outside of sessions. We continue to see growth and development while working with Stephanie and are very happy we made the switch. We would recommend her to other families struggling with their child’s speech development.
Michael's Dad
Ms. Stephanie has really made a difference for my 3 year old son. She took the time to really get to know him and tailored her approach to his interests and personality. After only a few sessions he was able to communicate with us better at home and even his teachers noticed he was happier during playtime at school.
